Re: EGR????

No.

EGR is only activated during cruising conditions, in combination with lean/highway mode.

In highway mode, fuel mixture is leaned out and a couple degrees SA are added, this creates a wery prone to knock/detonation circumstance.

The EGR, allows a small quantity of exhaust gas to be mixed to the lean mixture to lower the combustion themperature, the result is a safe of knock/detonation highway mode.
