TB coolant bypass done, but still warm
Hey guys I just did the throttle body coolant bypass and took the car out for a quick spin to see how much cooler the TB would be after running. the TB was def. cooler than before the bypass, but it was still pretty damn warm too. could it be because I just left the water inlet s on the TB open? should I run some hosing from them down to help "cool" a little better? thanks guys

No, nothing else is required.
Heat is a relative term. After you drive your TPI and shut it down and let it sit for 10 minutes, heat soak will warm it up. But while driving it, it will stay relatively cool.

You also have to remember, it's all metal. Eventually, all the heat from the motor is going to reach the TB. After driving for a while, feel the plenum and runners. They'll be hot. And all they have is air going through them! There's really no real way to keep the TB cool, the bypass just keeps 180-200 degree coolant from heating it up faster.
At any rate, it makes TB removal a LOT less messy
