Water pump replacement, power steering bracket

Wassup guys I'm trying to replace my water pump & I got it off. But I think to torque it down right I have to take the power steering off because the socket doesn't fit, it hits the bracket. So my question is which bolts do I take off? Is it only the two nuts (14mm or 9/16") & two torx bolts (T?) It's a 92 305 tbi

Shouldn't have to remove the bracket to get the water pump on. That bracket is a bit of a pain to remove. In addition to the nuts, there will be one or 2 braces against the exhaust manifold and intake.

You probably just need a thinner walled (higher quality) socket.
