engnine swap?

hey gang, i was considering a new engine for my poor 92 bird. she has a strong 5.0 but i was thinking of going in with a 5.3. what do you guys think? any advice? please hit me up.

Engine: 86:305 TPI, 82: 305 LG4

Transmission: 86:700R4, 82: T200C

Axle/Gears: 86:3:27 9 bolt, 82: 3:23 10 bolt

It will be cheaper, and a lot easier to do a 5.7 SBC, however it depends on what you want to do with it.
