Problem with trouble codes

Engine: 305 TPI
Transmission: TKO 600
Axle/Gears: 3.45 (G92 package)
Problem with trouble codes

I have the paper clip in the two far right holes in the OBD and when I turn the key to the on position the Check Engine light goes on but never flashes or displays any trouble codes. I have an 87 iroc 305 tpi.

ok got the codes now, have to have them in the top right two holes...

I have 33 and 42
