I drove about 30 min somewhere, then drove back and made a few stops on the way back. Car was fine.

At the end of the night, I was moving my car just a few blocks and I made a uturn a little fast (not even too fast though, tires didnt break), and at the end of the turn the car died. I think the electrical went out too, lights n everything, but I cant remember cuz I tried to start it back up right away.

The lights and gauges all come on, the headlights come on and look normal, they dont look dim. The security light never stays on, so I dont think its a vats problem. But it wont even crank.

I replaced the battery and ignition module, and its not either of those. But when we had the cap off, my friend was playing with the wires and the coil, and we got it to crank, then we got it to start. We put everything back on, then it wouldnt start or even crank anymore. The cap looks ok, but the coil is old and rusty. Hitting the starter while trying to start it does not work. Im thinking its the starter though.

I have not checked everything with a voltmeter but I will.

 

Well in case anyone cares, or for future reference, I replaced the starter and that wasn't it. Wasn't the key either, it was the shifter. Once the starter was replaced, we figured out it was something with the shifter. You had to hit it right to get it started. Doing donuts or any sharp turn would turn the car off. We just opened up the shifter and played around with everything and now it starts every time and survives donuts and sharp turns lol. Thinking of changing the B&M shifter anyway.
