1991 305 TPI -> valve seals (HELP PLEEAASE)

Car: 1991 Z28 Convertible
Engine: 305 TPI
Transmission: 5-speed
Axle/Gears: 10 bolt, 3.08
1991 305 TPI -> valve seals (HELP PLEEAASE)
In the process of putting in new valve seals on my 1991 TPI Camaro.
Took the springs off of one cylinder. Neither had the O-ring at the top (assume broke up and flushed away). The intake had its lower seal with the two gold colored reinforcement rings around it. Exhause had nothing. I was expecting to see a hat style seal.
Does the exhaust normally have this or what?? I want to know before moving onto the next cylinder. Any help would be great, thanks. {hopefully someone knows}

Well, did all 4 cylinders on the driver side and none had hats on the exhaust. I added them so hopefully that does not F it up. only 3 of the 8 valves had any 0-ring left on them. so anything should help.
