377 with a blower????
Hello I have been searching for a while on unique engine builds. What I have come to like the idea of is a 377 destroked (400 with 350 crank) for a pretty high revving solid motor but I still want a beefy bottom end. So what about throwing a blower possibly weiend 177 or 671 to get a happy medium. Also the application is my 89 camaro 5 speed. Open to any ideas comments or suggestions thank you.

Why not just build a 400 and throw a blower on that? Seems like you would be wasting time and money building a destroked 400.

Really... why spend the extra money on downgrading a perfectly good 400? Use it to "throw" more blower instead.
IF ANYTHING, spend money to UPGRADE the 400 by INCREASING the stroke, not DOWNGRADING by DECREASING.
"High revs" ceases to be the name of the game when using boost; "more intake pressure" becomes the operative concept.
There's not really any such thing as "throw" a blower on a motor. That's the voice of inexperience, right there. If that's your intent, build it for a blower, from the ground up.
Also reconsider this "unique" thing, at least until you get some experience in the arena you want to play in. Oftentimes there's a reason something is "unique", especially when it all it is, is an uncommon combination of stuff that otherwise is commonplace and ordinary. And of course the reason is, because it doesn't work as well as the "ordinary" thing. You can be COMPLETELY SURE, before you buy a single part or turn a single bolt, that this combo you are proposing falls into exactly that category. Rest assured, stuff like that has been tried; the reason it seems "unique" to you now, is because it didn't last. Assuming that it didn't fail, the owner realized right away that he had screwed up, after getting his butt kicked a few times by the "ordinary" thing, learned his lesson, and undid his "unique" mistake.
