Vortec swap advice
Getting ready to start a rebuild on my sons lo5 and need some pointers from you guys. Its a 93 lo5 from a roadmaster I'll be changing the rings and bearings. I would like to put a lt1 cam in and a set of vortec heads on it. I'm not sure if I'll need new push rods with this set up? Also I have a police car chip in it and don't know if that will work with that set up? And anything else I will need to know to do this swap. Thanks

You'll need a Vortec specific intake.

Youll also need to verify ith as the roller cam first. The truck L05's did not but the car ones were usually supposed to get them. You should check.

It is a roller cam so I'm not sure if the stock push rods will work with a lt1 cam and vortec heads? I know someone has to have done this swap?
