maf sensor

I just bought a brand new maf sensor part number #ACDELCO 14094712
for 125$ and I looked up the part online and it says cars from 85-87 I have an 88 camaro 5.7 tpi will this part work for my car or do I need another one? thanks for the help

If you look through the screen, the 85-87 sensor has a round element in it, the 88-89 sensor is straight. The body and connectors are the same either way. Not sure what the functional differences would be, the one you have might work.

Thanks for the reply I might just put it on and see if the check engine light comes off. Does any one know for sure if it will or won't work ?
