Please help me with my ignition problem!!!!

I have a 350 TPI engine in my 87 IROC. This car is my daily driver and it hasn't faile on me for the past 3 months since I bought it.

So I have 2 problems, hopefully 1 fix will cure both of them.

First off my car is taking a while to crank, in the mornings and even after I go into the grocery store and come back in 10 minutes it still takes awhile to crank. It turns on everytime but it still pisses me off that it does that lol, if I turn it off after its all warmed up, it'll turn right back on 1 minute or 2 later.

At first I was thinking it was the cold start that was the problem, so I got a cold start delete chip but nope, it's still doing it!!! :/ now what do I look into??

My second problem is that the engine is running a little rich, I can smell it out of the car and a little inside if I'm sitting in park but not when I'm driving, I hate it!

I was messing with one of my vacuum lines and I unplugged a small skinny one that goes to the AC and idk why but it stopped running rich, BUT there was no AC, could that line somehow be linked to why it's running rich?

Thanks and if I can think of other info ill update it and any help is really appreciated!

To me it sounds like you have a fuel problem, fuel pressure is draining down (bad regulator or leaky injectors). Put a fuel pressure gauge on it, it should hold pressure when the engine is off. Specs are 35-42psi running, 38-45psi w/ key on engine off.

You won't be adjusting it right now, you'll be testing it. You can rent a gauge from autozone.
