Re: GMHTP Third-Gen Project Car
I got my issue today as well. I'm very glad that both the cover car and the Formula 350 project car are both Gen 1 TPI style small blocks! It's about time the magazine did a project like this. The Formula 350 project car is going to get a 383 stroker motor in it!
I like LS motors but, I'm going to keep my thirdgen TPI Gen 1 small block powered. You can get LS style power for not as much money if you do your homework and select the right combination of parts.
Ha ha I'm sure the 1987 IROC cover car would scare many LS powered cars.

Love the magazine. I got very excited when it came this month. I showed it to my two year old daughter and she said "Camaro".
Looking forward to the Formula build.

Don't know...but it's been quite some time since anything has been in the magazine about it.
