may have an intake leak need some info to.confirm

So i have a chevy 350 has a rough low end idle when i rev it above about 2k rpms it clears up an is smooth. I took some carb cleaner sprayed where the carb met the intake an it idled down like it wanted to die then sprayed where the intake meets the head then it stalled out. The only big question is is thati was always told it would make the engine idle up. i just got the rest of the issues taken care of an this is the only thing left. im eiger to get this car on the road so idñf anyone can offer any advice i would appreciate it.....also forgot to mention it has vortec heads an a gm performance mid rise intake if the engine does need intake gaskets what would be the best to use i hurd some for the vortec heads are junk gadñskets

If the fluid affects the engine IN ANY WAY, there's a leak. So yeah....

If it leaks where the carb bolts to the intake, changing the gaskets where the intake bolts to the head won't accomplish much.

The leak is probably not the fault of the bolts... Change the gasket instead
