1984 Z28 Camaro won't start
While driving my 1984 Z28 Camaro, the engine shut off as I made a left hand turn. It is a manual transmission. I tried starting it up but it won't turn over, doesn't make a clicking sound, radio, turn signals and fan won't work, headlights and interior lights work. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Sounds like either a fuse blew (unlikely), or part of the engine wiring harness came unhooked when you made the turn. Also possible a ground wire came loose. I don't know about thirdgens, however on older GM vehicles there's a wiring harness plug that goes through the firewall, and it is possible for it to come loose if the bolt is missing.

I believe the hot wire for the battery to the starter has a fusible link ... Check continuity on ALL the wiring off the battery / alternator / starter ...
Re: 1984 Z28 Camaro won't start
Thanks a lot! I will have to check the wiring for fusible links...I am just not sure what they look like in the Camaro. I will have to do some farther research. But that would make sense as to why some electrical components work and others don't.
