Intake manifold block off plate?
I recently purchased an intake manifold gasket set it came with block off plates for the middle ports. the car is a thottle body injected 305 backed by a 700r4 with a b&m shift kit. My question is would it be beneficial to install the block off plates keeping in mind its a daily driver or would it be better to just keep the ports open? explainations would be great appriciated THANKS in advance.

Middle port on heads are the exhaust gas supply to the EGR valve.
If EGR is not operating then you will throw a code
