Engine: 383 with mystery cam - maybe
Transmission: t56 hopefully
Axle/Gears: 373 geared posi from 2002 z28
couple questions
as said in my other thread i bought a 383 in pieces that had busted a piston or 2 (crank is worth more than i paid for everything so well worth it) i ordered identical part #pistons to replace the 2 missing and 1 i wasn't comfortable using and the new ones have the coating on the skirts but the old ones dont I dont think this will cause any issues but has anyone else had anything like this happen
#2, according to thead for the pistons in jegs with 64cc heads i am looking at 10.9/1 compression with this high of a c.r. i amwanting to know would it be worth upgrading from the I-beam rods to a good set of h-beams
#3from what ive seen in my research i need around a 200cc intake runner on heads for this engine to breath adequately is that accurate and what heads have other fellow 383 fans had good luck with
