Hi guys,

I've got a bit of a puzzler for you, my camaro is leaking coolant but out of a very strange spot. I've marked it in red in the photo, I've marked the location of the hardline in black. Idk if this is because I've somehow blown the heater core or if the hardline between the headers and firewall has corroded. Also very odd is the fact that I have replaced every single hose in the entire coolant system and it wont leak all the way out. It only leaks to about half the full while cold mark.

Your Thoughts/Suggestions?

 

For anyone who reads this in future:

My heater core was leaking into the passenger footwell, however since the previous owner drilled into the floor, it was actually leaking out of the floorpan. The black carpet made it hard to tell. Also, my exhaust was routed on this side, preventing me from seeing the leak location.

Yeah, this site has been such an awesome resource (thanks to everyone who's ever posted on one of my threads!). I often find myself perusing old threads, If someone comes across mine, I want to give as much information as possible so that they may determine if their problem is related and how to tackle it.
