What 'brand' for roller lifters?

I just realized the title says Rockers. I'm asking about lifters.

Gathering parts for my build.

I have a comp hyd roller cam and matching valve springs.

I am wondering if I should be new Comp lifters or GM?

I know there are some Comp haters here, and the GM ones are cheaper.

There was an article in a recent hot rod magazine talking about mix and matching brands of valvetrain parts and the problems that can happen, regarding different harmonics or something, which made me a little concerned.

This build is a mild TPI.

I haven't heard much bad about GM lifters.

Thoughts?

PRW 1.6 RR's; Installed them half a year ago, and they work great.

TPI will protect the lifters from ever making even the slightest detectable difference.

Use whatever's cheeeeepest. (within reason... don't turn into a bottom-feeder) Probably GM.

Half a year is the blink of an eye. That stuff is not even broken in yet, or at least, shouldn't be. Not enough experience to be giving advice on that basis. Yeah it didn't fail the instant you hit the key; but it's hardly out of the "infantile" time frame yet. ESPECIALLY if it's not COMPLETELY a PRIMARY TRANSPORTATION daily driver.

Unless your L98 lifters are FUBAR for some reason, just reuse them.

{Fixed the title for you}

Thanks for the edit!

My stock lifters are MIA.

That said, I can get a set of NIM Pro Comp lifters for $65. I've always been a little leary of their stuff though.

New GM lifters will be about $150.

I just want a set that will last 100,000 miles. GM is probably the way to go, but the price savings of the prop comp ones would help.
