hey guys, i have a 91 Camaro Rs 305 TBI, auto trans. i am currently working on replacing the whole dash to TA dash with the guages, so all my wires are exposed, at least the ones from the connectors for the cluster. First things first, the car would turn on the first time occasionaly, and sometimes it would just click, so i would have to turn the key a couple times until it would turn over and start.

second, i was working on the car and was in the process if moving it giving it gas and it dies all of a sudden. go back to turn it on and it does a very low sounding clicking noise like when the the battery is drainned but it did not crank. so i jump it with another car, still nothing.

now i have no prime from the fuel pump, and no crank. not even a clicking noise. lights and everything else work.

i checked the battery, all the fuses, fusible links. my question to you guys is how can i go about checking if its my ECU or VATS that is causing my grief?

im trying to get this setup running by the summer so i can attened some cruise nights. any help would be greatly appreciated. THANKS
