You need to resize your rods after you install these.
Normaly by the time you buy these and have your rods redone you can have new rods with better bolts already.

Re: arp rod bolts
I dont know how to say this with out sounding like an *** but when I say bolts I means bolts. Im pretty sure everyone knows what a bolt is. I bought Ibeam rods for my lt1 and they came with arp bolts. But from what I can tell. You have to have aftermarket rods to have arp bolts and only stock rods can have studs? Is this correct or can someone correct me if im wrong

But stock rods don't have studs, they have bolts.
When you say bolts, are you talking about cap screws?

Some aftermarket rods just use bolts. Your stock rods use nuts and bolts.

Stock rods use bolts and nuts.
Some aftermarket rods use bolts & nuts; others use cap screws.
For example
Bolts & nuts: http://www.summitracing.com/parts/es...bplw/overview/
Cap screws: http://www.summitracing.com/parts/esp-6000b3d/overview/
There aren't ANY rods that use "just bolts".
ARP makes both bolt & nut sets, and cap screws.
If you're using stock LT1 rods, they use bolts & nuts.

Re: arp rod bolts
A small block 350would use this style rod bolts/nuts.

If you are talking about the cap screw type
http://www.summitracing.com/parts/arp-200-6207
They were not used on factory 350 rods.
some of the aftermarket rods use cap screws, and I believe the newer LS motors, but not an old school 350.

Re: arp rod bolts
Ok yea I guess there called cap screws. And rhe "bolt and nut" type I was refering to as a stud and nut. I was asking if you can get cap screws for stock rods? I dont know how much resizing rods cost right now but will find out tomorrow when I call machine shop. But then again I can get eagle ibeam rods for 250. With arp cap screws but then again my stock powder metel rods are pretty much the same as ibeams and believe they can handle the same amount of rpms and power.

Not hardly... a bolt isn't any good without a nut.

Resizing should cost somewhere in the ballpark of $12 - 15 a rod, plus of course the hardware.
Meaning that, by the time you have a set of prepped used stock rods out the door, you're into em for essentially the same price as new ones.
Which is one of the reasons why aftermarket ones are so popular these days... just like heads... back when there WAS NO such thing as the aftermarket ones like today, working up stockers was the only choice we had; not so much any more.
Terminology is IMPORTANT. It's how we communicate accurately. Somebody looking at the sky and referring to it as "pink", while the rest of us describe it as "blue", and then calling the rest of us "color *****" or something and talking all about "don't be so technical", "you know what I meant", etc., isn't a real intelligent way to go through life. It's no different with engine parts.
