No fuel

I'm working on an 83 Trans Am that's been sitting for about 9 years. I got the engine turning over but wasn't getting any fuel from the injectors (305 with TBI, btw) and thought I had no spark. Tested the coil and various connections, all seemed fine. Checked for spark again and this time I had spark at the plugs. Figured the spark tester was faulty (did the screw driver test the second time around.) Checked the injectors with the NOID light and they were fine. At this point, I could hear the fuel pump kicking on when I turned the key. I pulled the feed hose off the filter and fuel poured out, both from the hose and the filter. So, obviously the pump was pushing it that far. I was in a hurry and didn't think to turn the key. A couple days later, I went back and pulled the filter, turned the key and got nothing. No fuel spraying from the hose, no hum from the pump. Fuse is good, relay clicks (not sure if that means it's good), but no fuel. Obviously, this is indicative of a bad fuel pump, just seems coincidental, especially considering that car never ran inbetween the time it was working and the time it stopped. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

Re: No fuel

crossfire injectors will often stick if they sit unused for years-if they don't free up and begin working again by themselves once exposed to fresh gas, they can be "bumped" loose.Another problem that occurs to cause a no-start with long dormant crossfires is the foam rubber coupler hose in the gas tank can turn to goo and blow out.If the original fuel pump is bad,a TPI fuel pump is often used as an upgrade
