Re: How to attach oil pick up

Most oil pickups are a slip fit into the pump housing with a thin coat of black silicone around it. You can put the tube in a freezer overnight and it should slip right in with a few gentle taps.

What do you mean stake it?

The tube is already in, but it spins around in there very easily.

Re: How to attach oil pick up

I put a 5/8ths wrench around the pick up, and had my brother hold it to the pump, hold the bolt on the tip of the wrench and just hammer it in. put some oil on the end of the pick up..this is the easiest way.....i didnt read that it was already in place sorry
