Ok heres the back ground on this car. I bought it knowing it didnt run but im pretty good at fixing cars as I do it for a living. It's a 1989 Firebird 2.6 I knew it had a VATS problem from the beginning as the factory key switch was on the dash (with no key). So I found a sitch and a new VATS controler and installed both (what a MFer). From there I checked the timing and replaced all the plugs wires cap rotor and checked the fuel pressure, all of things are within tolerance. So here we are right now, we have spark, fuel, and no secuity light, no codes and you guest it no start. My next move is comression testing, I have looked over all the hoses and electrical and can find nothing out of place...Im really losing it here please help.

You have the injectors spraying fuel or just fuel pressure at the engine?Originally Posted by Nobull4x4

What test did you perform to confirm spark?
I used a spark tester and also pulled the plugs and qrounded them

I would check the compression next also. make sure cam is timed to crank.
Correct timing plus fuel plus spark plus compression you should be getting something.
Injectors may not be spraying, could be dribbling fuel out. It needs to spray to get a good combustion.
