I was wondering what ways I should go to improve horsepower for my lt1 engine that I am going to swap into my 86 iroc i am doing this swap on a budget so I try to do as much as I can myself I already have plans on installing a lt4 hot cam with 1.6 rockers on stock bottom end is that a good idea? and cast heads I've Ported intake to 58mm for the throttle body I installed a shift kit for the tranny I'm using I've been thinking of trying to port heads myself but am on the fence about it because I never done it before and I hope someone can provide tips on how it's done at home and what tools for cast grinding also any other easy or suggestions of something I can change or swap out for gains since I have the motor apart and please share any knowledge on the swap if you have any thanks my goal is to be close to the 350hp range or more would be great I want to be able to be a threat on the street lol
