Help me identity this sensor!

So i removed this from the side of my throttle body. When it's connected my car idles rough and eventually stalls. When I disconnected it, my car no longer stalls but it idles very high (around 2000RPM).

Re: Help me identity this sensor!

I think the name implies that it would sense the position of the throttle. More or less I was looking to see if this would be the cause of my stalling

Without it the computer has no idea how far your your throttle is open so it has no way of supplying the
correct amount of fuel required
