lt1 running hot
what can cause an lt1 engine to run hot? i already checked the oil and found no milky residue, coolant is clean, water pump was replaced new thermostat too, did a radiator pressure test and holding 16lbs, so i dont think i have blown head gasket or cracked head (worst case scenario) timing is at factory setting, electric fans are running, only thing i never looked into is the radiator. any other suggestions? btw its in the 40s in MI so its not that hot around here

Re: lt1 running hot
LT1's will run hot if they have air in the cooling system. They must be bled using the factory procedure. They will not purge air like a normal SBC.
