i want to put a cold air intake on my 87 camaro 305 v8 tpi. i went to auto zone to get one, and the guy said to find out what to do with the MAF. so i dont know what to do with it. please help, i want more power and better gas milage. so either email st_soapy@hotmail.com or text 9209018719. thanks

 

You need to incorporate it into the cold air intake system. not to close to the throttle body or the filter but just about in the middle. also make sure you have it facing the correct direction for air flow or else you will flip a code.

 

If you have a 87 TPI camaro, you already have a cold air kit from the factory. No need to waste money on somthing you dont need.
Do a search on how to modify the lower filter housing.

 

so its already installed? but where? and what would modifying the lower filter housing do?

 

At the top of the page, (red stripe,white letters) there is a search feature.
