Pleasant Surprise!!

Just got the car running and found out it was the fuel pump. Decided to pull the valve cover and check out the insides.

Holy hell it has full roller comp engineering rocker arm setup and World products torquer heads. Motor looks exceptionally clean in the heads.

Owner said it was a 350 I hope it is a and not a 305 with this stuff on it. It does however have factory headers on it and not the exhaust manifolds. (changing these in the near future for real headers)

Will be going from TBI to carb.

I would love to get this car to run in the 8.00's in the 1/8 of a mile. I think with a higher stall converter, rear gear change, (maybe rear end) I might be able to get it there.

Re: Pleasant Surprise!!

The casting number that will get you to the details on the motor are cast into the block behind the passenger side cylinder head. They are hard to read with the engine installed.
