New roller rockers of same ratio changing valve train geometry?

Today I was checking valve train geometry and with stock stamped steel rockers the contact range on the valve tip was right in the middle. I had bought a set of Scorpion 1.5 ratio full roller rockers but then decided that they weren't needed for my application. But today I installed one and checked geometry with it just out of curiosity. I was surprised that with the roller rocker, the contact range on the valve tip was off- centered towards the outside edge of the valve tip.

I didn't think just changing to roller rockers would change valve train geometry because they are of the same ratio. The only change to the valve train is a milder cam but it didn't seem to affect the geometry with the stock rockers... Is there something I'm missing?

Thanks.
