Don't remember how the oil fitting was installed
I swapped in a new engine into my car, but unfortunately I am having problems with the L-shaped oil fitting at the back of the intake on the block. I forgot to take a picture of how it was installed originally (which way the sensors pointed). Anyone have a picture of how they go? It was on an L69 motor.
Also, when I put the vertical tube that goes directly into the block and tighten it down by hand as much as it will go, it points forward. It doesn't want to turn any more to make it face to the rear. If i point it to the rear by turning it back counterclockwise, it seems too loose. It seems like it would possibly move side to side with the engine vibration. I put some teflon tape instead of the permatex thread sealant I was using and it seems to hold the tube a bit better and now it doesnt wobble, but I can still turn it easily. I'm afraid if I leave it like that it will leak oil.
