lg4 idling high and run on
Hi, i have an 87 firebird. Just had to swap the intake manifold and now my car idles at 2k rpm and coughs for about half a minute after i shut it off. Idles fine when the four wire plug is not plugged into the distributor. Vacuum problem?? i checked the lines and hoses and they seem to be okay but i may have hooked them up wrong after i swapped the intake.

messing with the throttle at the carb i could maintain an idle of 1000 rpm and it shut off when it was supposed to

for anyone wondering, the timing was off and the cruise control cable connected to the throttle was binding
