How well would the above long block and cam behave in a 82 CFI Camaro? I really want to ditch the 305 for a 350, and this is cheaper then rebuilding the 305 (or a 350 for that matter, assuming I didnt have to buy a block). Would I need to make any ECM changes?

Re: Crate Engine and CFI
that engine looks like the old,old targetmaster 350;260HP rating very optimistic
this engine basicly just a std.~1972-86 350 that had a installed HP rating of 145-190 in"smog era" cars. That engine is probably a decent base to build on for mild street use.Myself,i'd just find a suitable used engine and use as is if good or repair/upgrade if needed but i am used to engine work.No changes to the ECM will be needed besides swithching to '82 'vette 350 prom and you will also need '82 vette injectors or suitable equivilent.Cam should be close to specs used for L83,L69,L98(pre-'87).A good port job on the crossfire manifold will really wake it up.
An exhaust upgrade should be done if stock system still in place.I wouldn't use those roller rockers either-probably chinese junk...
