Timing help with 350 and New MSD DIST.

Hi, I am installing a New MSD Billet Dist Vac advanced Dist, I have a 350 Chevy with a Holley 650 Ultra DP Carb and the rest of the mods are in the sig below, Where should I start with my timing numbers?
What about total timing?

I was thinking around 8 Intial and 32-36 Total?

Standard 250hp Goodwrench replacement cam
195/202 @ 0.050
Start at 10* but likely better at 14*

290hp GM crate motor
222/222 @ 0.050
16*-18* initial.

Limit vacuum advance to 12-16* total, use full manifold source.
Clean crisp idle.
Limit total mechanical to 36* total all in by 3000rpm.

The cam specs? Or my suggestion for timing?
Cam specs, I have had both motors...wasn't sure about the smaller of the 2, its been awhile lol, the other 290hp motor I had last year in my 56 Olds so I remembered what it was.
Timing? Trial and error.....

Gotcha. I'll give it a shot, I figure 8 Deg would be the starting point, But I'll try ten Plus.
