Check Valve Differences?

Hi! On my 91 TA with the 350 TPI Engine there are three of these Black Metal Check Valves. Two of them have a number 22041203 on them and the other shows 22036195. They look physically the same. Are they the same? Thanx!

In that case I just have to ask the obvious. Why did GM have a separate part number for them? They show the #22036195 Valve as part #22048224 and the 22041203 Valve as part #22040897. Confusing!

Re: Check Valve Differences?

Prolly came from 2 different sources (parts supply plants) or something profound like that.

It's just a check valve. Lets air go one way, but not the other. If it does that, and has the right fittings, then it's THE SAME, or at least, THE SAME ENOUGH for the purpose at hand.

Don't outsmart yourself over something THAT simple.

You're absolutely right. I just wanted to make sure that I had it right. Thanx for the insight!
