Timing Cover Help!

I am in search of a timing cover.

The cool aluminum one I got will not work. The oil pan will not seat on the block with this one.

I've noticed most timing cover listings mention they will not work with a 1 piece rear main seal block.

I have also noticed some of the stamped steel ones listed for one piece blocks say they will not clear a roller timing chain.

SO, I have a one piece rear main seal block, and a roller timing chain.

Anyone have any suggestions?

Why not use stock L98 one?

Re: Timing Cover Help!

Got an email from Canton, they sell one that works with the 1 piece rear main blocks.

Got it on the way.

Re: Timing Cover Help!

Got the canton cover installed, but the lip on my one piece oil pan gasket still seems too thick.

The gasket came in a fel pro 2664 kit which is supposed to be for a 1988 corvette.

Guess I'll go to the local parts store and compare different pan gaskets.
