iroc loosing anti-freeze
1988 camaro 5.7 tpi, loosing coolant, has no external leaks, heater core fine,no water in oil.I believe it must be going out exhaust ,but no sign of water anywhere. Has new hoses, pump and rad.cap, anyone have any ideas or similar problems they have had.All my ideas aren't happy ending ones.

Re: iroc loosing anti-freeze
Most likely it's the water pump.
The seal leaks, the water goes into the inside of the pulley, and gets slung EVERYWHERE in a fine mist. You never see it.
No sense inventing prophecies of doom over it.

Heater control valve is made of plastic. It can have hair line cracks and you may not see them. imo

It's definitely not water pump,it's new and has been checked thoroughly, plus under pressure when engine is turned off it would leak.
