Factory original oil drain plug gasket type?
Hope this isn't a lame post; I searched the threads but couldn't find an answer. What's the factory-original type of oil drain plug gasket on our cars -- or for mine in particular, which is a '92 Camaro 305? I bought her a couple of years ago with no gasket and have been experimenting with what works best to leak-proof the plug (it isn't stripped). I know there are copper, aluminum, nylon, fiber and a copper one with a rubber insert. Thoughts? Thanks in advance!
