I've got an '87 IROC-Z Camaro with a 305 TPI in it. 97,000 miles on it. I got screwed over. I bought it for $2,700, and then found out the head gaskets were blown. I, since then, have put new gaskets on everything, got the heads resurfaced and valve-jobbed, put on a new oil filter and thermostat, and had the valves professionally adjusted. I have a slow oil leak and I'm burning some oil, but I'm hoping to fix that before I sell it. The interior isn't great, but I'm working on making it look decent and presentable. It's got coated headers that are in decent shape. The tires are in good shape and the rims are fairly nice. The body isn't bad, although I feel like it's probably had body work done on it at some point. It could use some paint in a few spots and some new decals, but doesn't look that bad and has practically no rust.. T-tops that don't leak. It's got fairly new dual exhaust. Automatic transmission. Runs fairly well, but sometimes has trouble starting. I'm just scared I'm gonna have bigger problems with it and I wanna get it off my hands without taking a huge hit on it. I've got about $3,600 in it. I'm hoping I could at least get somewhere between $2,500-$3,000 if I make it look a little nicer and fix the oil leak. I mean it's not a terrible car and I love the third gen, but I'd like to get it off my hands and pick up one in better shape for closer to $4,000-$5,000. If I were to list it on Craigslist, what do you think I could get for it?
