vibration at high speed
Hey guys, I have a 1988 firebird with the 305 tbi engine. Mostly stock with an open element that I installed last week. I have recently noticed a vibration when I get up to about 80-85 mph.
I am about to install my new y pipe, cat, and cat back. Just wondering what I should be looking for while im down there.
Thanks
Kevin

The stock driveshaft... is poorly balanced and you will experience high speed vibrations until you replace it with a better unit...
Inland Empire makes a direct fit aluminum piece.. I forget if it came with new u-joints but it will solve the problem.
The difference is immediate... I did that in 2003 then had it shortened in 2005 when I did the 9" rear.
I parted with it last year when I switched from the 700R4 to a Turbo400..

Okay, so nothing too serious then. I just needed to make sure it wasn't gonna fall apart when I hit 88 mph hahaha
Thank you
