Need 2 Replacement valves for dart iron eagle head. Anybody know where?
I might be getting a set of Dart iron eagle cylinder heads from a friend pretty cheap. Only problem is there are 2 missing valves on one cylinder. Apparently he had them in being checked and the machine shop lost them. It's a long story but the heads are practically new so I was hoping to just get 2 replacement valves.
So I'm wondering if Dart has replacement valves or does it matter if they are original valves. I looked on their website but I didn't see any..
Any help would be appreciated.

Only certain sizes of valves used in SBC heads so any parts shop should have them once you know what size
you are looking for ( or take one in with you )
FWIW;
They are SBC heads made by DART to replace SBC heads so they take stock sized components

Depends on the heads...
They didn't use stock GM components in them. You shouldn't either.
Doesn't too much matter that the ones you replace them with are "identical", so long as the dimensions are the same. (length, stem undercut, tulip shape, etc.)
Pick up the phone and call em. They've always been pretty helpful when I had a question about their product.
Meanwhile, an important question you should ask yourself is, if your friend is selling them "cheap", why? What does he know that you are yet to find out? How did a formerly (I assume) useful set of heads, come to be in the condition they are currently in?
