Clay Smith Cams or Lunati

im starting a engine build for my 85 T/A. as always the first component i choose is my camshaft. im looking at a solid flat tappet. somewhere around 250/260 dur @.050. with a lobe seperation angle of 110 or less and under 550 lift. ive used lunati in the past with good results but also hear their profiles are all over the place in some cams which scares me i havent had any bad ones yet in the four engines ive built but ive been hearing alot have lately.. i dont want a half-assed cam. just curious as to how the quality of clay smith cams is? havent heard many bad things about them just curious as to if any of you fine upstanding gentleman have used any of their cams and lifters and what your thoughts were on it? thanks in advance.
