What's the opinion on bosch 02 sensors?

I've been having a helluva time getting my car into closed loop, and after replacing the 02 sensor to no avail (had code 13), running a ground straight to the chassis from D6 pin, and running new wire from the sensor to D7 pin, it will go in VERY briefly and right back out od closed loop. Are those sensors still garbage? Last thing I can think if is the connector by the sensor being bad, could I just cut that out and splice the wire together? Or get an AC delco one? ECM was just replaced and i know it's good.

Nothing wrong with Bosch O2s, many of the ones you buy are re-branded Bosch.
