Burning oil?

So i bought an 86 trans am, and was told its suppose to be a 350 swap with a 383 eagle stroker kit, but I have no way of confirming this. Getting to the point, when i drive the car normally, it drives fine, no smoke everything sounds fine, but when i give it some gas, it burns oil.

I get this oil build up on my valve covers aswell

Re: Burning oil?

It looks like valve cover gaskets leaking, my old 305 burned about a quart of oil a week head seals went and smoked like a freight. It got so embarressing i had to spot driving it, and do a swap.

Valve cover gaskets are about 50$ tops for the good ones. It would be money well spent if that's all it is.
