Hey guys,
not sure if this is a ignition problem or trans. At wot around 6 grand in any gear like 1-2. It's trying to shift into the next gear and takes a few seconds to do so. The trans is a rebuilt 700r4 with a 2800 stall my ignition is MSD.

 

probably the trans. Check the fluid level
Are you manually shifting it at 6k and it takes long to shift?

 

I did check the fluid and its topped off, also noticed tiny bubbles on the dip stick not sure that's a problem? And I forgot to mention this happens at both manual shifting and leaving it in over-drive. If I drive normally it does not happen.

 

if the tv cable is adjusted right then the trans is probably going?

 

I'll re check the detent cable, but the trans probley has only 500 miles or so on it. And I actually bought the a rebuilt kit several years ago from Dana and had a trans shop rebuild it for me.
