Im finishing up my 4 year resto on an 88 Iroc and i kept it stock basically except for the headers that are air injected ports that are being used. Now, its registered Antique so on the safety inspection can i take this emiisions crap off?
Also, how do i avoid the check engine OR fool the ecm

Re: TEXAS STATE INSPECTIONS?

What "emissions crap" are you referring to?
It looks like you have a tpi engine, some of that "crap" is required for the engine to run properly and removing it would reduce performance.
Its against federal law to remove the catalytic converter, although you could get a modern, high flow cat that would flow much better and increase performance.
