MAF/fuel pressure leakdown time
My car is still running rich as I diagnose it with code 33/34 it seems to start great no hot idle issues etc. Mainly seems pig rich and stuck in open loop.
Replaced MAF relays and fuel and all work well (complete new fuel system) except for injectors
Not sure if I am diagnose MAF right but if I do the 34 diagnostic it leads to code 33 which meand bad MAF. I seem to have 10-11 volts on the red wire.
Should the blue wire have 12V across the maf relays not sure after burn off? I suspect that is not triggering so not reading maf
the MAF reads like 2500-3000 in tunerpro not sure what this means? If code 34 shouldnt it be 0?
after checking vacuum (short of intake/o ring o leaks I am thinkign of changing maf)
I did fuel pressure test and it primes to 40-41psi. then runs between 38-40psi when I shut it off it sits at 40-41psi for about 10minutes. Not times but within 30minutes more or less it seems to drop to 20.
is this acceptable or leaky injectors cause for rich condition?
In tunerpro, the computer see extreme lean condition since open loop blm are 200+ o2 sensor never cross over .5mv (i think this prevents closed loop condition?)
I will replace the o2 first, replace coils since sat for years and test again.
then do maf.
