I have a 1989 Camaro RS with a V8 350 LO3, and I'm living in California. I'm having a problem trying to find out what needs to go where on the emission system on my car. The diagrams, I seen aot are not helping me to find out what is the piece or components. If anyone can show me a pic(s) of what it is and where it goes. I'll be grateful.

 

Looks like the coolant hose that hooks up to the throttle body is missing. The two hoses hooked up to the valve go to the heater core. You probably never use the heat in California, so you may have never known the heat isn't working.

 

The item you show on the manifold in the 2nd pic is only a bolt hole for the compressor brace

 

Thanks, Its more less than a puzzle now to fig what is in the other pic where a hose or something fits there.

 

The L03 is a 305, just to avoid any confusion. You are missing the throttle body coolant hose. You should see a large nipple like port coming off of the passenger side of the throttle body, angle ever so slightly downwards. The hole you indicate in front of the thermostat housing, nothing is meant to go there. It's a bolt hole and on my L98 I have the same one in the same position, empty.

This pic clearly show the back brace for the A/c compressor going there
