I just replaced the vacuum line that goes from the vacuum tree to the vacuum ball under the fender. Im pretty sure all the vacuum lines have been replaced now. I have gone over the diagram about 3 times now.

Anyway, now its making a noticeabley loud sucking noise from the evap canister / vacuum ball area. Cant really tell where exactly its coming from. Felt around with my hands and none of the connections suck my hands toward them. Squeezing the vacuum ball hose lowers the sucking noise the tiniest bit, but its still noticeable loud from the outside, with the hood closed too. Im pretty sure I pushed it onto the ball all the way. I can feel it and its just as far as the old one. It went on pretty easy surprisingly.

Could it be because I used 5/32 diameter vacuum hoses, instead of 3/16? They didnt have any 3/16 at Oreillys so I just went a little smaller. Its weird it wasnt making the noise with the old cracked hose.

Might have cracked it when putting the new hose on.

 

Cracked the vacuum ball? Well I guess Ill look for one at the junkyard

Yeah, you're right, it's Dorman part 47077, if anyone needs it for future reference. It can be called Vacuum Tank or Vacuum Reservoir. OReilly told me it wouldn't be there for at least a week. Autozone said in 3 days.

Well.. I decided to check one last time before going to the store, and of course, I hadn't put the hose on the plug, but between the plug and the outer ring. It's funny it stayed there the whole time. No wonder it went "on" so easy! Hahaha.. Well, I plugged it onto the plug and the leak is gone!
