89 Iroc TPI No Start

I have a 1989 IROC Z Camaro 5.7L Tuned Port Injection. About 4 weeks ago at wide open throttle the engine rpm dropped to idle and i had no throttle response for aprox 5 seconds. this happened twice. once at 20 mph once at 80 mph finally several days and miles later same thing happened but the engine shut off completely. will not start except briefly for a few seconds with almost no throttle response. no check engine light or codes. check engine light is functional when key is on. only code 12 shows up which is diagnostic mode. Fuel pump primes. about 1 weeks prior fuel pump would not shut off when key was removed. I changed the relay on the fire wall and problem was solved. change fuel filter also. car ran and drove fine for a week. fuel pressure to the rails is 40 psi . Has spark at plugs. Has newer injectors about 8 months old. Vavle seals appear to be leaking because it smokes at start up (blue smoke ) for 10 seconds after sitting for a few hours. I purchased the car about 6 months ago. I was thinking of going through and checking all the engine control sensors with a multimeter. Any suggestions? Thanks for any help.

Silly question, but did you check the throttle cable at the TB ?

Adjust the TPS ?

Thanks for the suggestions. Looks like I have one bad injector. Testing for injector pulse with the noid tester the car fired up and ran when cylinder 5 injector wires were pulled. got out the multimeter and that injector had a resistance of 4 ohms. the rest are around 16. Does the ECM shut down all injectors if one goes bad ? Just wondering if that is why it runs on 7 cylinders when that bad injector's wires are removed.

The shorted out injector shuts off the ecm injector driver. Contact southbay fuel injectors and get a set of there 22#hr bosch 3s. The stock Multecs are junk !
