High-pitch vibration "squeak" from engine?

My '89 RS, 305 has been making a high-pitched "squeak" when running.

While seated in the drivers seat, this sound appears to come from the dash/engine area. I have tried holding various parts of the dash to see if it something vibrating there.

The best way I can describe this noise, is it's similar to the vibration squeak I've heard before where the hatch latches down when closed (where the metal on metal door latch catches and rubs the "hook" on the door/hatch).

Does anyone, or has anyone run into this before and know where to start "looking" for the source of this noise?

My 85 squeaks all the time. Common in third gens. It's the dash...

If that's the case, is there a "fix"?

Aside from removing the dash and snugging up all the screws.....not really.

That what I needed to know! Just didn't want to remove and re-install, snugging things up, to have it still squeak.
